Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) has divided 36 acres of vacant land of ShyamGanj Shahdana Railway Ground into two parts for construction. In the first phase, development will start from about 19 acres of land.

Here housing plans will be prepared in the form of shopping complex , multi-storey building, warehouse and villas. After this the process of second phase will start. Railway land has been divided by RLDA into two sites Site A and B.

About 17 acres of land is lying vacant in Site-A, while 19 acres in Site-B.

At present, preparations have been made to give only the land of RLDA Site-B. The detailed plan of development on Site-A land will be ready later.

It has been decided to lease land for 99 years to a total of four firms including Riddhi-Siddhi Construction of Agra and three contractors of Bareilly. The plan to set up a new Bareilly on the vacant railway land from Izzatnagar Railway Division to Shahdana Ground of North Eastern Railway has started taking off soon.

With the change of land use from BDA, the vacant land has been given on lease for 99 years. The construction of this land will be completed in two parts. Explain that the railway line from Shahdana to CB ganj was put by the British. The Babu Train used to run on this route .

The train stopped running in the 80s. After this, people took illegal occupation around the railway godown and track. A multi-storey residential building has been proposed on this ground.

Roads will be built with about Rs 10 crore: According to the BDA vice-president, about Rs 10 to 15 crore is estimated to be spent to build a road between Shyamganj to Izzatnagar on the vacant railway land.

The BDA will build the road only on the consent of giving the road side land to the BDA on a lease of 99 years. A proposal has also been given for this, its meeting is to be held soon. In this regard, after talking to RLDA, any decision will be taken keeping in mind the interest of the Surrounding residents of the area.

Bareilly Development Authority will pass the map: After leasing the land for 99 years by the RLDA, the contractor will have to submit a file to the BDA for approval of the map.

The map will be approved by the Bareilly Development Authority keeping in mind the interest of  residents of the area.

Plan to build a road on the meter gauge railway Line.

On the vacant place of the railway, from where the railway line was laid for meter gauge trains. There is a plan to build a road at this place. Bareilly Development Authority Vice-Chairman Joginder Singh said that the railway has given its land on lease between Shahdana to Izzatnagar.

The proposal to build a road by removing the place where the railway meter gauge line was laid has been given by the BDA to the RLDA. For this, RLDA has been asked to commercialize some places along the tracks. So that BDA can get some income.
