The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has imposed a fine of Rs 66 lakh on two development authorities and four builders for non-compliance of the order. Both the authority and the builders will have to deposit the fine amount within 30 days. Failure to do so will result in recovery of recovery certificate (RC).
All the benches of UP RERA are continuously resolving the complaints. But the builders are not following the orders. Due to this the buyers are not getting justice. Frustrated, buyers are knocking back on the door of UP RERA and pleading for compliance of the order. On which UP RERA is taking action against builders. In its 83rd meeting on Tuesday, UP RERA imposed a fine of Rs 66 lakh on two development authorities and four builders. The maximum fine of 20 lakhs has been imposed on Ansal Housing Builder. Those not following the orders also include Lucknow and Gorakhpur Development Authorities. The authority and builders will also have to follow the orders and submit a report within 15 days.

Last week also seven builders were fined
UP RERA had also imposed fines on seven builders last week. Most of them were from NCR. A fine of Rs 1 crore was imposed on all the seven builders. UP RERA took this action for not following the order. The builders have also been ordered to deposit the fine amount within 30 days.

2.13 lakh fine on LG Electronics for not disposal of garbage
The Greno authority has imposed a fine of Rs 2.13 lakh on LG Electronics. The Public Health Department of the authority has taken this action for not disposing of the garbage. DGM Salil Yadav, in-charge of the department, said that the team under the leadership of manager Vaibhav Nagar had gone to Udyog Vihar on Tuesday to inspect. The team found a pile of garbage near the company premises. on which the fine has been imposed.
Salil Yadav said that it is mandatory for all the big waste producers to dispose themselves in Greno. The authority collects only internal waste. A prescribed fee has to be paid for this. He said that the LG company also comes under the category of big waste producer. However, there is no arrangement for the disposal of garbage. Greater Noida Authority CEO Narendra Bhushan has appealed to all the big waste producers to cooperate in proper management of garbage and make Greater Noida more clean.
